If you aren’t lucky enough to be getting away from Wellesley during school vacation week, you’ll be happy to know there are a few special things to do in town.
On Monday, the Wellesley College Botanical Gardens host a kid’s event from 1-4. Games, crafts, scavenger hunt and more.
On Tuesday at 10:30am, a kid’s concert featuring Alastair Moock will be held at Wellesley Middle School. (Tickets $8 in advance and $10 at the door)
On Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, Wellesley Free Library is offering movies.
On Wednesday, the library is presenting 2 events involving real live owls, but you need to register in advance.
The Wellesley Recreation Center at the Warren Building has open gym hours Tuesday-Friday broken out by different age groups. Details here.
For grown-ups, Wellesley College presents an avant garde film about Mexico called Time in the Sun at Jewett Auditorium at 7pm.
On Friday, Wellesley College hosts a concert by Refuge Trio at 8pm at the Jewett Auditorium.
