Readers tell us Old School Pizzeria, which has had the lights on for weeks and has been dishing out some free slices to those who happen by, is now officially open for business.

One reader who stopped by described the owner, longtime Wellesleyite Joe Perdoni, Jr., as having a big, friendly personality, and said the pizza was great and the nostalgic decor fun.

An early reviewer at Yelp liked the sausage pizza she tried.

Nice to have the spot at 552 Washington St. back in action.
