Wellesley College President Kim Bottomly has been published dozens of times as an expert on immunobiology, but now she has taken her writing skills to the Web in the form of a new blog called the HKBlog.
Wellesley College hired a head techie recently who put a new blogging system in place at the school, and Bottomly couldn’t resist giving it a whirl. Her posts so far have ranged from introducing the new Science Center cafe, dubbed The Leaky Beaker, to the lowdown on recent trustees meetings.
In her latest post, Bottomly expresses surprise that the blog was read by an alum not on the Wellesley campus now. Yes, we’ve checked and it’s true: there’s no “Wellesley” in the acro WWW for World Wide Web.
