From the Wellesley Mothers Forum:
Come see some of your children’s favorite trucks and animals and make a difference in the lives of children in need at the same time. Once again, the event will feature a wide range of trucks and vehicles from kids and adults of all ages to explore. Last year’s favorites were the Hummer limousine, RV fit for a rock star, Natick Bookmobile, and a mini excavator that children could operate. This year, we’ve added the Rocky Acres Farm petting zoo with over twenty different animals for children to pet, hold, and feed. Family Music Makers will also be at the event to get the kids singing and dancing while they enjoy their special day.
All of the money raised at the event will go to the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children, a non-profit organization focused on brightening the lives of children and families in crisis.
The entrance fee is $5 per child—no charge for infants or adults (although additional donations are always welcome).
Other activities featured at the event include a nut-free bake sale, truck-themed children’s activities, story time on the Natick Bookmobile, and an Usborne book sale.
Please contact Joanna Bandte, Wellesley Mothers Forum Special Programs Coordinator, with any questions about the event or to get involved at joannabandte@comcast.net or (617) 821-1889.
