Wellesley police and fire officials responded to a garage fire Saturday on Lehigh Street started by a lightning strike. No one was hurt, according to a brief Fox Boston report. Next week, we hope the Boston Bruins will be dousing the Tampa Bay Lightning.
On a completed unrelated note…. the Animal Rescue League of Boston tweeted on Saturday that a “Wellesley resident has called about a mystery animal stuck in their chimney…bird? squirrel? Who knows, but we’ll find out soon enough.” And they did: “The Wellesley animal in the chimney was a raccoon nest with mom and 2 babies. After a lot of commotion and a big mess, they’re out.”
