Wellesley resident Ray Allen of the Boston Celtics got well wishes from the Creevy family after the team’s season ended this week in the 2nd round of the NBA playoffs vs. the Miami Heat.
“We put up a sign at his house to show our gratitude for being such a good role model to the youth of Wellesley,” Jill Creevy says, noting it was her 8-year-old son’s idea to make the sign.
Allen set the career record for 3-point field goals during the season.
