The Babson Park post office for the 02481 zip code in Wellesley Hills is back on the US Postal Service’s “study” list for possible post office closings. The USPS is looking at 3,700 post offices that might need to close in an effort for the USPS to operate more efficiently in this age of so many people doing business online.
The Babson post office on Forest Street survived a similar scare in 2009 when it was included on a list of 400-plus offices examined for possible closing.
