It’s fair season in Wellesley

The Fiske Wild West Round-up gets the fall fair season going in Wellesley this Saturday from 10am-2pm at Fiske Elementary School on Hastings St. The event is held rain or shine and includes a dunk tank, cowboy strut and more.

Also coming up:

*Fall Fling, Hardy Elementary School’s replacement for the Beach Party that got rained out at the end of the last school year.  Takes place Sept. 23 from 3-6pm at Hardy School on Weston Road, and while it’s a Hardy event, the school says friends, family and neighbors are welcome. Tickets purchased in advance for the Beach Party are good at this event or for the one to be held next June (if you don’t have tickets, you can buy them at the Fall Fling).  A huge obstacle course, a slide, a disc jockey, games and more will be offered.

*Bates Pumpkin Fair, Oct. 15, 1oam-2pm. This community-wide event for children and adults features games, prizes, moon bounces, raffles, haunted house, craft activities, lots of goodies, auction and pumpkins for sale.
