The Wellesley Education Foundation, along with the Wellesley Celebrates Education Committee, is offering you the chance to leave your mark on the new Wellesley High School by purchasing an engraved brick that will be used to pave the plaza in front of the new building.
The tax-deductible bricks cost $125 (half the price of the 8×8 ones the Boston Red Sox are selling to celebrate Fenway Park’s 100th anniversary!) and will be sold until Dec. 31 or until bricks run out. The bricks can be personalized with your name, messages to students, in memory of others, etc., and will join 800 bricks extracted from the existing school that will be used to pave the new building’s front plaza, to be unveiled next summer.
The school itself is slated to open in February.
