Wellesley’s Woody Gaul will be appearing as Steven Kodaly in Woodland Theatre Company’s romantic musical comedy, She Loves Me. Performances are Oct. 7 & 8 at 8PM and Oct. 8 & 9 at 1PM, at the Sherborn Community Center, 3 Sanger St., Sherborn, Mass.

Gaul is returning to the musical stage after a decade-long hiatus. Originally from Midcoast Maine, he moved to Wellesley from New York City where he acted with a traveling Shakespeare Company.

She Loves Me is based on a play that inspired the films “The Shop Around the Corner” starring Jimmy Stewart, “In the Good Old Summertime” starring Judy Garland and “You’ve Got Mail” starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.
