The Wellesley Community Art Project, which has been brightening up empty storefronts in Wellesley Square, is now promoting its efforts via a blog.
Community artists, retail property owners and the town of Wellesley are joining forces on this project, which is highlighting art from Wellesley College students and others at spaces formerly occupied by Rugged Bear, Neena’s and Betsy’s. Of course the hope is that prospective tenants will see how nice the spaces look with the art in the windows and sign on to fill the properties with their businesses.
