Wellesley has released its annual town meeting (begins March 26) and election (March 13) warrant.

*To see what money the town will provide to make the new Rockland Street bridge safe and to improve the Wales Street bridge, to buy a new ladder truck for the fire department, to revamp the DPW recycled materials loading structure, to bolster the HVAC at Public Works & Park/Highway Building and to spruce up Bacon Street and the Hills Branch of the library.
A citizen’s petition seeks to curb use of gas-powered leaf blowers. A general article seeks to protect town board members and other officials from legal and other expenses up to $1M related to claims against them related to town work.
