Wellesley teen killed in Colorado skiing accident

Very sad news out of Colorado: The Denver Post is reporting that 15-year-old Hannah Randolph from Wellesley died Sunday at a Colorado ski slope called Copper Mountain after hitting a tree near an expert trail.  Ski patrol attempted to save Randolph’s life, but she died at the resort’s medical clinic.

The Wellesley High student has been active in track, soccer, skiing, chorus and other activities.

Students and staff will now open the new high school next week with heavy hearts.
