Jan Kaseta, director of Wellesley’s Recreation Department, last week was presented with the Massachusetts Park & Recreation Association’s e Community Professional of the Year award. She’s been working for the town since 1986, and since becoming director 10 years ago has helped to grow Wellesley recreation programs from about 30 offerings to 1,000+ a year, including outdoor movie nights and the Morses Pond Mile Swim.
Separately, Babson College Summer Camps has a new Camp on the Hill Director in Jaime Cutone, a middle school teacher in Holliston who has been working with kids for 17 years. Her background includes early childhood education and coaching in local towns including Dover-Sherborn and Holliston. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Lesley College.
Camp on the Hill is one of Babson’s 12 camps offered from June 18 to August 3.
