Wellesley School Committee voted unanimously Tuesday night not to renew its contract with Chartwells to provide Wellesley Public School meals. That leaves the town with a challenge of finding a new contractor for next school year, and it does not plan to return to an in-house program. The food service program has been much criticized this year, including recently by a group of elementary school kids at a School Committee meeting and by parents who filled out a survey last week. More from the Boston Globe.
