… that’s because dozens of volunteers turned out Saturday morning to tidy up the Charles River in lower falls in Wellesley as well as Fuller Brook along Fuller Brook Park as part of the annual Earth Day clean-up. Low water in the Charles exposed just how nasty some dumping has been, shown here below the new bridge connecting Wellesley and Newton behind the new Waterstone at Wellesley senior living facility. We heard that the find of the day was a couple of full catheter bags!
