A reader wrote to us Tuesday asking what was up with Whole Foods in Wellesley, which she visited during the morning only to find the produce and prepared food sections largely empty.
According to Whole Foods, the store had a small contained electrical fire in one of its freezers, then awaited board of health approval to guide it through the rest of the day. “The downstairs needed to be completely cleaned and we are well on our way to being back up to full production [Wednesday] morning,” a store spokeswoman said.
