Have you seen lost Sheltie dog in Wellesley?

A Wellesley dog owner has asked us to post the following note:

Lost Sheltie around the Earle Road section of Wellesley on Wednesday Aug. 8. The dog’s name is Gimli and is a 9 year-old male, last seen running on Ingersoll road and Woodland road. The dog is neutered, some teeth extracted, red dog collar, with rabies and ID tag. Gimli is an indoor dog and is not use to living outdoors. He is very shy. If you see him don’t approach because he will run. Please just call Wellesley Animal Control – 781-235-1212 and talk to Sue Web. This dog has been a very good companion and is very well behaved. You can also call 717-330-3263 with any information on the whereabouts of my dog.
