Upham Elementary School on Saturday, Sept. 29, will host its annual Sports Carnival from 11am-3pm, rain or shine, at 35 Wynnewood Rd., where the school is located. The carnival is open to the entire Wellesley community and features games, kids’ sports, bouncy houses, raffle, cake walk, prizes, and food and refreshments (last year’s included the outstanding wrecking ball attraction, shown here).
Among the highlights this year will be a dunk tank featuring principal Jeff Dees.
Ticket prices are: $20 for a packet of 45; $10 for 20 and $5 for 10. Admission to most activities and games is two to four tickets. Parking is free and volunteers will help you find a space.
All proceeds benefit the school. Those interested in accessibility to the carnival may contact Salvatore Petralia at Wellesley Public Schools, 781-446-6200 , ext. 4503 or Linda B. Waters, 781-446-6210, ext. 4529.
