Wellesley High School’s Class of 2012 posted a combined average score of 1,881 on the critical reading, writing and math portions of the standardized test, the best in the state, according to a Boston Globe summary of a College Board report issued this week that showed overall national scores being down. A maximum combined score on the tests is 2,400.
Wellesley students’ MCAS scores were a mixed bag, strongest in English and weakest in science. David Lussier told Wellesley Patch last week that he’d like to see Science and Math scores improve, and presumably this will be a focus of his administration going forward.
