The Wellesley Society of Artists will present its Fall Art Exhibit and demonstration by artist and teache, Nan Hass Feldman. The demonstration, involving oil paint sticks, will take place on Sunday, Sept. 30th from 2 – 4:30pm at the Wellesley Community Center, located at 219 Washington St., Wellesley Hills.
Feldman decribes herself as an artist who is blessed by a love of life, an optimistic outlook and very high energy level. Her paintings are image based and reflect both interiors and exterior of the home and landscape. They are are filled with vivid color, life and a strong sense of design. Hass Feldman has had a varied career that has included 41 one-person shows and teaching at three Massachusetts museums.
The upcoming reception will feature paintings of current members of the Wellesley Society of Artists. The WSA was formed over 77 years ago and provides a support system giving artists the opportunity to exhibit their work. The Society welcomes all to this free event. Light refreshments will be served.
