Wellesley Police urge residents to bring in political signs until Sandy passes

Barack Obama supporters: Imagine the indignity of getting impaled with metal posts from a wind-blown Mitt Romney sign? And Romney backers, envision getting one of the metal sticks from a flying Obama sign in your eye? Read on:

Be a responsible citizen.  Vote for Hurricane Sandy and take down your political signs until the hurricane is over. 

Wellesley Police officers have noticed many residents still have political signs on the front lawns of private dwellings.  These signs can easily become airborne in high winds causing damage. 

So vote for Hurricane Sandy today and take down your signs until AFTER the storm has passed.
