Banker & Tradesman reports that old Wellesley Inn property, which has sat vacant across from Blue Ginger on Washington Street since 2006, is set to change hands.
That renews the possibility of a new condo/retail complex that has been stalled due to economic conditions (see The Durant website for the original plans; photo here is of what it was planned to look like). For now though, details are hush hush.
Last we had heard, the current developer could retain permits until next year.
