December 15, 2012 by bbrown Leave a Comment

Rockland St bridge Dec. 15, 2012, ped bridge removedWorkers on the Rockland Street bridge Saturday removed the pedestrian footbridge and people were allowed to start walking over the permanent concrete bridge that’s slated for completion by year-end. National Grid and others were on the scene to finalize the project. Ran over it with a friend Sunday morning and it was feeling mighty solid. The bridge was closed down at the start of 2012.
