The Wellesley Board of Selectmen on Jan. 2 will consider licenses for two second-hand shops, Elan Fine Consignments (402 Washington St.) and Luxor Jewelers (10 Washington St.).
They would add to a number of other used articles shops in town, including Shopper’s Corner at Schofield Elementary School, and the Turnabout Shoppe and Second Time Around in Wellesley Square.
Then of course there’s the biggest and best second (or third or…) hand shop in town: The town dump/recycling center.
And as one reader mentions, the town also features good rummage sales held at various churches, including the Unitarian Universalist Society‘s on March 23 at 309 Washington St.
