Festival of Trees display of beautifully decorated trees.

Festival Dates
November 29 through December 15

Friday November 29th – Celebratory Opening

Hours
Weekends : 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Weekdays: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Special Note
On Sunday, December 15, the Festival will close at 6 p.m. in order to notify the tree winners.

General Admission
$8 for Adults, Children under 12 FREE!
Children ages 14 or younger must be accompanied by an adult.

*Sprague Elementary 8th Annual Cookie Walk (Dec. 5)

What is the Cookie Walk?

It is an event where you can buy a wonderful assortment of holiday cookies and other treats, enjoy entertainment by the LINX dance troupe, purchase raffle tickets for your chance to win amazing prizes, and write a letter to a soldier which will be delivered for you right after the event.

When is it?

Thursday, December 5th from 2:30-5:00 p.m. (snow date 12/6 2:30-5:00 p.m.)

Location: Sprague Elementary gym, 401 School St., Wellesley

What kind of raffle items are there?

*Superintendent for the day

*Ride to or from school by the Wellesley Police Department

*Write an article to be published in the Wellesley Townsman

*Celtics tickets, Gronkowsi signed football, Signed Red Sox photo, Bruins Boston Strong shirt

*Tour of Mix 104.1 and meet and greet with radio personalities

*Gift certificates/packages to many local retailers.

This year the Troop 185 sale is at 888 Worcester St., next to St. James Church, Rte. 9 East, Wellesley.

Dec. 6, 5-8pm, Dec. 7 8am-8pm, Dec. 8 10am-4pm

Shop for Christmas trees, balsam wreaths, roping and other holiday greens.

When: Saturday, December 7th 9am to 5pm

Where: Saint John School, 9 Ledyard Street, Wellesley

Description: Our annual holiday market will be filled with everything you need for Christmas: freshly cut trees, custom decorated wreaths, boxwoods and roping, homemade baked goods, kids’ crafts and a toy raffle.


9am – 10am | The Cottage, Linden Square
Meet Santa and enjoy a fun breakfast.
$10 per child or bring 2-3 pair of new socks for kids up to age 12.

*Alternative Christmas Gift Fair
Sunday, December 8
Mark your calendars and plan to start your Christmas shopping on December 8 at the annual Alternative Christmas Fair.  Ten organizations will join us this year for the Fair.  Embrace this opportunity to purchase meaningful gifts for your loved ones for Christmas while supporting ten wonderful not-for-profit organizations.  The fair will be held from 10:00 am to noon in Village Common.  Each organization will have gift cards for you to distribute to those lucky recipients of your very special gifts.

*The Wellesley Women Artisans have organized their first Art Walk, which will take place in conjunction with the downtown Holiday Stroll event on Sunday, Dec. 8 from noon to 6pm.

Artists will be exhibiting and selling their work in 10 Wellesley Square stores, and 20% of proceeds will go to the Wellesley Education Foundation in support of visual arts programming at Wellesley public schools. Most of the artists will be on hand to discuss their works, which should make for unique holiday gifts.

Soprano Noune Karapetian sings Christmas and Holiday Favorites.

Featuring the winner of the WSO “Two Front Teeth” contest
MassBay President John O’Donnell narrates ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas,
our traditional audience singalong, Santa, and kids conduct the orchestra.
Reception to follow.

All concerts Sundays 3:00 PM with pre-concert talk at 2:15

*Luminary Night in Wellesley (5-8pm)

Throughout Wellesley, families will light luminary candles and place them along driveways and sidewalks in celebration of the season and our community.

It’s easy to participate. Order online today. http://www.whjwc.org/content/luminary.asp Kits also will be available for purchase at local area merchants.

All proceeds benefit local charities.
