If you notice more people, especially little kids, smiling at you in Wellesley this week don’t freak out. It might just be the lingering effects of Hardy Elementary School students getting a visit today by Bren Bataclan, a Boston-based artist who through is Smile Project leaves artwork in random places for people to take — as long as they promise to smile at more people.
Bataclan is no stranger to Wellesley, having been to other elementary schools in the past. He has also painted murals at schools in surrounding communities.
