The Wellesley Recreation Department had to improvise and move yesterday’s egg hunt indoors at the Warren Building due to the snowy and wet ground and generally chilly weather outside. “Our annual Spring Thaw event was billed as the ‘Not So Spring Thaw’ this year. We had to do it indoors. I guess the bunny didn’t want to get his feet wet!” says Jan Kaseta, the Rec Dept.’s director. An estimated 150-200 kids hunted for some 3,000 eggs.
The department posted this and other photos on its Facebook page.
