Special Senate Primary-April 30- Absentee Ballots available.
Absentee ballots are now available from the Town Clerk for voting in the April 30 Special US Senate Primary. This primary will select the Democrat and Republican candidate to appear on the June 25 ballot to elect the US Senator to replace Sen. John Kerry.
Voters who qualify for absentee voting (out of town on the day of the election, physically disabled, religious reasons) may apply in person or by mail for an absentee ballot. Written applications should include the name of the voter, address and signature. Applications must be in writing but can be submitted by mail, fax or attached to an email. It is required by law to have a written signature on file with the application. The deadline for all applications is NOON April 29.
Absentee ballots must be returned to the clerks office before the close of the polls on April 30. All absentee ballots are counted on the day of the elections at the polling places.
Change of Polling Place Precinct H
The polling place for Precinct H will now be at Wellesley High School, Band Room. Parking is available in the visitors spaces or along the curve of the student parking lot. Voters are requested to avoid parking in numbered spaces that are allocated for staff and student parking. Polling place will be marked. Hours for all polling places for the April 30 primary are 7 am – 8 pm.
