According to the Wellesley Natural Resources Commission, it has been working with the Massachusetts Watershed Coalition to develop a 200 square foot rain garden, a porous paving system and sustainable landscaping in an effort to beautify the Town Hall duck pond and to keep storm water from polluting it.
A sign will be installed at the site to explain the amazing greenness of it all.
During the installation of the project, the NRC will be holding a hands-on educational course for local landscape contractors, garden clubs and the public.
