A Wellesley Farmers’ Market sign has been reported to us as missing from a residence on Kingsbury Street (this hasn’t risen to an official police report yet, we’re told.).
The sign, promoting the Market every Thursday from 2-6 at the corner of State and Washington Streets, was taken sometime between the hours of 2 and 4pm Wednesday afternoon. According to the market promoters, “the lonely metal stand would kindly like its sign back, so that it can once again be made whole.”
If you have any information about this sign-napping, please contact info@wellesleyfarmersmarket.
Wellesley, if you don’t know, has a rich tradition of sign stealing, including during the presidential election last fall.
