Lobelia, the ice cream and sandwich shop at 268 Washington St., in Wellesley Hills, is shutting down June 28, according to owner Ahmed Kazemi.
Lobelia was formerly a Brigham’s, which shut down in 2009, but was operated by the same ownership, which ran the businesses for 9 years overall.
Meanwhile, Wellesley, say Hello Jared!
A Subway sandwich shop will be moving into the space. There are already a couple of relatively nearby Subway shops, one on Rte. 9 in Natick and another on Highland Avenue in Needham.
