The Wellesley Free Library Foundation, in honor of the main building’s 10th anniversary, is selling commemorative bricks that will be laid into the walkway at the rear entrance.
The bricks cost $150 for a 4×8-inch size and $300 for an 8×8-inch size, and can accommodate up to 3 or 6 lines of info, respectively. Bricks will be sold until Feb. 1, 2014, and will be installed next summer.
The library relies on a lot of outside funding to support its programs and resources.
And if you’re really into bricks, might we suggest this book, available at the library: Brick: A World History, by James W.P. Campbell.
