The house belongs to the Daniel family, including local TV news reporter Ted Daniel. Reportedly no one was hurt in fire.
Reports from the scene were that a fire hydrant in front of the house (shown here) didn’t work.

I have nine years of the most awesome memories in this house! I’m devastated for the Lee family, former owners of the home until 2006, and myself. I will no longer ever have the ability to drive by and smile from all the wonderful memories the Lee family brought to my life. God Bless the Lee family and the new owners :-(
Typo: “Durant Road, of Weston Road”, “of” should be “off”.
Oh, and several hovering helicopters made the Perrin neighborhood noisy during the duration.
Boo hoo. Helicopters are noisy.
