Sixty-plus cyclists road a loop beginning and ending at the Hardy Elementary School to honor former Wellesley resident Alex Motsenigos, who was struck by a vehicle and killed while cycling a year ago on Weston Road.
Some cyclists wore flowers on their bikes or helmets, then laid them near the spot where the accident took place when paying respects.
Among those in attendance was Alex’s mother-in-law, who is holding the sign below (we’re grateful that she heard about the ride from our website).
