Twig, the fancy floral shop at 50 Central St., that we reported earlier this week had mysteriously shut its doors, has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The prospects for the business re-opening here look slim.
The bankruptcy filing coincides with the filing of Chapter 7 bankruptcy for Paradigm Shift Ventures, also operated by at least one of Twig’s owners.
Twig opened in Wellesley about a year ago and has since shuttered its other locations in Boston and Westwood.
The business and its property owner had been mum about the latest happenings in response to our inquiries. All calls wound up in voice mail, and emails and Twitter inquiries weren’t acknowledged.
