Activities across Wellesley this weekend include:
*The Friends of Wellesley Free Libraries fall book sale all weekend long at the main library on Washington St. (9-6pm Friday, 9-5 Saturday, 9-1 Sunday)
*Volunteer Trails Day: Join the Wellesley Trails Committee on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 9-11am to clean up Centennial Reservation. The committee members will instruct you on basic trail maintenance and tool usage, and then work on
clearing trails of brush and limbs. Trails committee members will provide tools, but if you have loppers (long-handle clippers), please bring them. Wear sturdy footwear and bring leather gloves and water. Meet at 9:00 at the trailhead at the end of Maugus Ave. MORE info: www.wellesleytrails.org
*The Wellesley Society of Artists will present its Fall Art Exhibit and demonstration by pastel artist and teacher, Jeanne Rosier Smith. The pastel demonstration will take place at the Wellesley Community Center, 219 Washington St, Wellesley Hills. In addition, the reception will feature the paintings of the current Artists of the Wellesley Society of Artist. The Society welcomes all to this free event, from 2-4pm on Sunday, Sept. 29. *Just across the Wellesley line, the annual Newton-Wellesley Hospital HopeWalks charity walk takes place starting at 10am on Sunday, Sept. 29.
