Improvements continue along the aqueduct trails in town that previously were kinda/sorta not officially public ways. The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA), which recently spruced up the Waban Arches with safety considerations in mind, has now replaced the hard-to-get-around metal fence at the Sudbury Path intersection with Dover Road (behind Nehoiden Golf Club) and replaced it with a short wooden fence and a smaller metal gate that should keep unauthorized vehicles out but give pedestrians and cyclists easier access to and from the path (though you still need to really watch yourself going onto Dover Road).
Significantly, what was once a very steep entry has been leveled so that it’s much easier to get onto or off of the path.
