Wellesley restaurant Justine’s tables old name in favor of Justine’s Grill

Justine’s Table, the Rte. 9 east restaurant that opened late last year in Wellesley, has changed its name to Justine’s Grill.

The restaurant says on its Facebook page, which had gone quiet for the past few months, that changes to its menu are coming as well: “We’re revamping our menu with some tasty new dishes…grilled dishes to be exact!”

The restaurant, which currently is a BYOD establishment, has seemingly been a little too fancy for its own good (It even charges a $1 “corkage” fee per beer and $6 corkage fee per bottle of wine). The owner has been trying for months to get a liquor license, but town officials have had concerns about parking and other issues.

This dramatic mini-series continues at a Board of Selectmen meeting slated for Sept. 23.
