The Wellesley Democratic Town Committee will host a candidate series with the Democratic gubernatorial candidates this Fall, starting on October 23rd with national security expert Juliette Kayyem. Candidates for Governor and other statewide offices have been invited to share their views and answer questions in these local forums to be held at the main Wellesley Library from 7-8:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
The schedule of gubernatorial candidate appearances is as follows:
Wed., Oct. 23 – Juliette Kayyem, national security expert, former Globe columnist, and former Department of Homeland Security official
Wed., Nov. 20 – Joe Avellone, health care executive and former Wellesley Selectman
Wed., Dec. 18 – Steve Grossman, State Treasurer
Wed., Jan. 15 – Don Berwick, pediatrician and former Administrator of Medicare and Medicaid
Recently declared candidate for Governor Attorney General Martha Coakley and other declared Democratic candidates for statewide office are also being scheduled to appear.
