Six groups of 6th grade students presented ideas for articles to a mock Town advisory board on Friday, Oct. 25.
Two ideas were selected to move forward to a mock town meeting to be held Monday, Nov. 4 at 8-9:30 am in the WMS auditorium. All are invited.
The two concepts to be presented include the suggestion for a senior buddy program that would pair a middle school aged student with a town senior citizen and a proposal to provide portable restroom facilities, including ADA compatible restrooms, at town athletic fields.
The exercise, involving six classes, was led by Mr. Jonathan Rabinowitz and Ms. Lisa Driver.
