About 2,000 runners took part in the 2nd annual Turkey5 road race in Wellesley on Thanksgiving morning, beginning and ending at Linden Square under a sunny, cold and windy sky. Proceeds from the event help support organizations such as the Wellesley Cancer Prevention Project and Wellesley Education Foundation.
Wellesley High alum Bijan Mazaheri won the 5-mile race for the 2nd year in a row; Hanna Worrall won in the female field. In the 5K, Wellesley High runner Ben Griswold took first among males, while Tricia Frank was the top woman. More results here.
