Andrew Keough, the Wellesley High principal who is itching to become a superintendent, has lost his bid to get the job in Beverly, Mass. The post instead went to a veteran administrator out of Bourne, though he clearly wasn’t a unanimous choice.
Keough had supporters on the Beverly School Committee, but they cited his lack of experience as a superintendent as a shortcoming
Earlier this year, Keough came close to getting the superintendent’s job in Hopkinton, but again was not chosen. He has been Wellesley High’s principal since 2007.
