Wellesley High School English teacher David McCullough, Jr.’s book, which builds off his famous “You’re Not Special” 2012 commencement speech, now has a title: “You Are Not Special and Other Encouragements.”
The book, which had a working title of “The Chief Element” (and briefly, “Before You Go”) is due on May 13, just in time for 2014 graduation gift giving.
The 336-pager comes from HarperCollinsPublishers’ Ecco imprint and the hardcover edition lists for about $22. It can be had for a few bucks less by pre-ordering from Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other sellers, and e-reader versions go for about $13.
