Wellesley resident cracks TCAN’s Spelling Bee cast

A day after the big Wellesley spelling bee this Thursday, Wellesley’s Dan Goldstone makes his debut with the TCAN players on Nov. 8 in the “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” at the Center for Arts in Natick.

Stagestruck in an elementary school production of The Wizard of Oz in Newton, Goldstone has appeared in productions with a number of area companies.  He heads up a financial services company while not on stage.

“The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” opens Nov 8 and runs for 7 performances through Nov 17. Performances are at 8pm on Nov 8, 9, 14,15, 16; and 2pm on Nov 9 and 17. Tickets are $22 ($20 members) and $12 for students and seniors. They are available at the box office or by phone (508.647.0097) Tue-Fri noon-6pm and Sat 10am-2pm; or at www.natickarts.org. The Center for Arts in Natick is located at 14 Summer Street, Natick, in a restored 1875  firehouse. The theatre is wheelchair accessible.
