From Wellesley Volunteers:
Wellesley Volunteers is holding its second Wellesley Volunteer Fair on Sunday, Nov. 3rd from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the Wellesley Free Library at 530 Washington Street. The fair will be organized in a manner similar to a job fair, with multiple municipal and non-profit organizations attending. Interested volunteers will be able to meet with these organizations and learn more about the volunteer opportunities. The first fair, held in October of 2012, drew more than 20 different organizations and over 100 interested volunteers.
Organizations scheduled to participate include: Wellesley Friendly Aid, Neighbor Brigade, Wellesley Free Library, Wellesley Council on Aging, Wellesley Symphony Orchestra, Springwell, Wellesley Media Corporation, Independent Transportation Network, Metrowest Family Promise , Elizabeth Seton Residence, SOAR 55, and Wellesley ESL.There are still a few slots open for Metrowest-based non-profit or municipal organizations.
