On Dec. 7 two groups of Wellesley High students took part in Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild’s statewide competitions. Four Seniors – Justin O’Brien, Andrew Maney, Gabe Gager, Anna Bortnick – took part in the senior monologue competition. Anna came in 2nd and Andrew received Honorable Mention.
Also, four Juniors — Drew Hawkinson, Scarlet Randall, Mary Moynihan, Zoe Lloyd — took part in the Scene competition: Drew and Scarlet came in 1st, while Zoe and Mary received Honorable Mention.
