It took less than 2 hours on Monday night for Wellesley Town Meeting members to approve three items allowing for about $2.6 million to be spent on a combination of planning and designing renovations for five the town’s 7 elementary schools as well as the middle school. Some of the funds will be borrowed, others will come from free cash. The overall Town Meeting scorecard is here.
And just when you thought some of these older elementary schools couldn’t get any prettier, too…
