Wellesley Police — with plenty of help from the FBI, state police and others — have arrested a suspect in Quincy for the Rte. 9 TD Bank robbery that took place in Wellesley over the weekend.
The arrest for unarmed robbery and larceny over $250 came after a 9-hour standoff, according to the Globe, with police unsure whether the suspect was armed while inside a residence. The suspect hid himself in the eaves of the attic, and with the assist of a police dog, he was extracted. The arrest of the 32-year-old suspect took tasers and teargas to complete, according to the Townsman’s report.
