From the Wellesley Historical Society:
The trains began running in the windows of Faber’s Rug Company at 9 Central St. in Wellesley Square the week after Thanksgiving and will continue through New Year’s week. Known as Holiday Junction, the display is set up by the Wellesley Historical Society and is in its ninth season. Area children have been dutifully pressing their noses up against the windows where Allan Cook’s Lionel trains, Barbara Sturgis’s 1935 dollhouse, and Nancy Erne’s 1890s barnyard and old toys continue to delight.
So sorry not to see a pic of Allan’s trains on the website; he takes such joy from that display.
We actually did add train pics (initially, we couldnt get any good ones through the windows but did get permission to go inside and take some later on…)
